Join me for a stress relieving, relaxing, zen experience that is sure to help you temporarily alleviate
the feelings from the pressures of NYC living.
We will start off with your choice of filtered infused hydrated waters (lemon or cucumber infused) or if your preference is to begin with a light cocktail (Mimosa, Bellini or vodka and lemonade). We strongly encourage hydration all throughout the experience. (8 minutes collectively)
Indulge in a quick rinse in the LED Light Rain Forrest Shower. This quick shower is intended to rinse off immediate negative thoughts and worries and cleanse your body to get ready for this zen esque experience. 2 minutes in the shower should be just enough to help open your pores and relax your muscles in preparation for this relaxing journey.
We will then move on to the Steam Room Sauna for up to 5 mins where we will perspire and detoxify the largest organ in the body. This is a calming white room that reaches a moist 103 degrees at max and is essentially steam. Breathe in the dense fog for a respiratory refresher while opening up the mucous membranes around the body, allowing deeper, easier breathing. Your will endure heavy sweating.
One of the more unique experiences of this curated zen encounter is the Turkish Eucalyptus Mist Shower. This open elevated seated area is dedicated to sitting amongst a timed spray of eucalyptus infused mist. Inhaling the mist in moderation has the beneficial properties of reducing stress, providing brief relief from respiratory issues, and increasing energy levels. We will spend a maximum of 10 mins.
Next is the Pedi Spa Pool where it is essentially hydrotherapy for the lower legs (below the knees) for up to 5 mins. This 108 degree heated mini jetted pool focuses on relaxing and releasing the tension of the lower extremities of the body that are used as our primary mode of transportation as New Yorkers. This section of the experience intentionally encourages the blood vessels in the lower leg to expand and increases blood flow throughout the rest of the body.
Then we move on to the the dry sauna. A personal room of dry heat that reaches a maximum of 117 degrees. We can sit or lay on benches and risers constructed from red cedar grown primarily in the western part of North America. You will have the option of being in peaceful silence or engaging in a guided mindful breathing meditation for approximately 10 mins.
Next up, we will briefly become acquainted with the Cold Sauna. We will be seated in a this cool 58 degrees in this coal and metallic fitted room Seated for 5 mins as your body adjust to a different type of chilled environment bringing your body back to its natural average temperature of 98.5 degrees. A few of the benefits are Improved joint and muscle function, and blood circulation, increased natural nutrient and oxygen supply to muscle tissue and an enhancement in joint mobility and mental intelligence.
Our next milestone in this zen experience is 10 mins in the Himalayan Sea Salt Sauna for where we will execute a guided 2 minute a stress relief tapping exercise. The Himalayan sea salt embedded in the walls has the benefit properties of working with your skin to help you excrete these toxins. With the natural beginning evening sunset backlight, the natural salt provides a soft ambiance and welcoming atmosphere, making regular sauna sessions even more soothing.
The experience is concluded with the 15 minute Full Body Seated Massage Chair. Sit back and let this leatherette recliner take full control of bleeding, treading and massaging your entire body with specific focus’s on the back of the head, full extent of the back (neck, spine and tail bone), waist, hips, calves, forearms, palms of the hands and bottoms of the feet. You can enjoy experience with or without eye covering.
